Clinical Utility of Korean Occupational Therapy Practice Guideline for Dementia

Abstract

|
Objective : This study aimed to verify the clinical utility of Korean occupational therapy practice guideline for dementia.
Methods : We have collected data from March to August 2019 on occupational therapists with clinical experience. In total, 44 experts answered the survey. For the data analysis, we implemented a descriptive statistics using, pearson correlation coefficient.
Results : Of the 66 surveyed items, 63 had an average more than 6. The clinical utility of less than 6 were driving evaluation, driving education, and snoezelen. There was a statistically significant correlation between appropriateness, applicability, and effectiveness.
Conclusion : This study’s results confirmed the high clinical utility of Korean occupational therapy practice
guidelines for dementia.
